Practice Staff

Practice Nurses

Nurse Patricia Colledge, Nurse Melanie Tew and Nurse Margaret Lawford are available by appointment. They are able to give professional advice, family planning information, appropriate immunisations including those required for travelling abroad, cervical smears, dressings, removal of stitches, ear syringing and clinics for diabetes, asthma, hypertension, heart disease and smoking cessation. They also assist the doctors in minor surgery.

Health Care Assistant/Phlebotomist

Mrs Barbara Fenton and Mrs Maureen Mullins are available by appointment to take blood for tests, take blood pressure, height, weight and urine checks, lung function tests and smoking cessation.

Practice Manager

Mr Tim Morris, BABA(hons), MIHM, is responsible for the administration of the practice. He would be happy to hear your views and suggestions about the service offered by the practice.

Secretaries

Mrs Helen Hodson and Mrs Jean Elliott type all the practice letters and referrals and liaise with other providers and hospital services.

Receptionists

Our friendly, efficient and helpful team of receptionists will assist you in making an appointment to see a doctor or nurse, answer any questions and offer help at all times. Please let them know if you wish to discuss any matter with them in private.

Community District Nurses

Mrs G Busby and Mrs T Burnell offer general nursing services at home for those who are unable to visit the surgery. Each patient's needs are assessed and the care and treatment is planned accordingly.

Community Midwife

Mrs Anne-Marie Brady is the community midwife attached to the surgery and takes the leading role in maternity care, working with the practice doctors and local hospital maternity unit and is contactable at Warwick Hospital on 01926 495321.

Health Visitors

Mrs J Eccles and Mrs A Watmore are the health visitors attached the practice to help with the care of 0-5 year old children and their families. Our practice nurses are available for childhood vaccinations by appointment.

Community Psychiatric Nurse

The surgery has an allocated community psychiatric nurse. A doctor can arrange for you to be seen by the nurse at the surgery or at St Mary's Lodge.

Macmillan Nurses

We have Macmillan nurses attached to our surgery to support patients with cancer and offer palliative care. They can be contacted either through the surgery or via Myton Hospice on (01926) 419920.

Prescription Staff

A member of the staff is available from 10.00am - 2.00pm each day.
Please note, requests for repeat prescriptions cannot be made over the telephone.
